Could you be a Spitalfields reporter?
Our good friends over at Old Spitalfields Market are scouring the capital for Londoners who possess a love for the East End and a flair for creativity. We know there are lots of keen writers among you looking to get involved in somewhere a little prestigious, and these days there’s a huge need to bulk up that CV by committing some of your precious time to writing about something awesome. If that’s the case, hit up the guys over at OSM!
On November 5th, five of the best applicants will be chosen to become part of a crack team of Spitalfields Reporters.
Perhaps you or someone who know is a literary genius, a dab-hand with a camera or just can’t stop vlogging their way around the city. Maybe you just can’t keep away from the East side at the weekends, and spend lunch hours checking the Shoreditch property listings. Whatever it is you enjoy about the East End, Old Spitalfields really wants to hear from Londoners of all experience levels.
Applications should be sent to OSM@therabbitagency.com, and you can submit of any of the following to show them how awesome you are:
- A written article
- Video or vlog
- Audio snippet or podcast
- A photo piece
- Interactive maps
- Storywheel
- A social campaign
- CV
- Pinterest idea
- Surprise them! You lot are a clever bunch (not that we’re biased). If you think you know a better way to bag a place on the team, then bring it to the table and get noticed.
Columnists will be announced under the categories of Vintage, Beauty, Food, Fashion and of course the East London Local spot is also up for grabs.
Though the position is currently unpaid, Spitalfields Reporters will of course have priority invitations to exclusive events held at Old Spitalfields and the local area, plenty of chances to take advantage of a multitude of goodies and, of course, the opportunity to write for an audience of thousands… All under the watchful eye of one of East London’s most established and vibrant stomping grounds.
